Description

Get into the Halloween spirit with these Gluten-Free Mummy Brownies! Rich black cocoa brownies with salted caramel chips and spooky mummy decorations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup Gluten-free Flour
  • ½ cup Black Cocoa Powder
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Butter, melted
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cup Salted Caramel Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your cauldron (oven) to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave, and let it cool for a few minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour, black cocoa powder, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
  4. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth as a ghostly whisper.
  5. Stir in the salted caramel chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out almost clean. While the brownies are still warm, press in the candy eyeballs to give them that spooky mummy look.
  7. Let the brownies cool slightly, cut into bars, and drizzle your favorite frosting or white chocolate to create mummy bandages. Enjoy your hauntingly delicious creation!

Notes

Substitution: Can use regular cocoa powder in place of black cocoa powder, taste will be slightly different and color will be lighter like traditional brownies.
