Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 oz Chocolate Chips
  • 20 oz White Chocolate Chips
  • ⅛ tsp Peppermint Extract
  • 1 sprinkle Sea Salt
  • 1 cup crushed Candy Canes

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate chips using one of the methods below
    • Microwave: Use your microwave’s defrost setting and heat the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring between each time.
    • Stovetop: Use a double boiler or a saucepan on low heat to melt the chocolate, stirring constantly.
  2. Pour the melted dark chocolate onto a baking sheet lined with wax or parchment paper. Smooth it out into an even layer and allow it to cool and set.
  3. Melt the white chocolate chips using the same method as the dark chocolate. Once melted, add the peppermint extract and stir well.
  4. Pour the white chocolate layer on top of the dark chocolate and smooth it out to create a flat finish. Sprinkle sea salt on top for an extra flavor boost.
  5. Top with crushed candy canes and press them gently into the white chocolate layer to ensure they stick.
  6. Allow the bark to cool and set completely before breaking it into pieces.

Notes

To speedup the cooling process, place the baking sheet in the fridge for 10-15 minutes
