Almond Flour Cookie Base
- 1 3/4 cups fine almond flour, packed and ready to rock
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 cup orange juiceÂ

- 1 egg, at room temperature
Cinnamon Orange Sugar Mix
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons orange zest (get ready for your kitchen to smell amazing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt and turmeric. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and orange juice and if using, orange blossom water.
- Add egg and vanilla: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll in Cinnamon Orange Sugar Mix: Scoop 1 tablespoon balls and roll into the cinnamon orange sugar mix.
- Bake: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges.
