The perfect bite-size treat for any party you're hosting or going to, these red velvet cake bites are so versatile and sure to be a hit!

  • 1 Box Red Velvet Cake Mix, You can make your favorite from scratch recipe like I did but a boxed mix works perfect as well.
  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1 pinch Sprinkles , For topping!
  • 8 oz White Chocolate or Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers, For dipping!

Instructions

  • 1)

    Bake your cake, either from the box or your favorite scratch recipe. When your cake is made, cool slightly until it’s just warm, not hot.

  • 2)

    While the cake is still warm crumble the cake into a large mixing bowl and combine with 1/2 cup of cream cheese frosting.

  • 3)

    Using a cookie scoop or spoon roll the cake mix into balls and place on a baking sheet that is lined with wax or parchment.

  • 4)

    Freeze your cake balls for at least 1 hour

  • 5)

    After 1+ hours, melt your chocolate wafers according to the directions on the packaging. Dip cake balls using a fork or toothpicks, add sprinkles or your favorite toppings and place back on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

  • 6)

    Store in fridge for up to 3 days, freezer for up to 2 weeks.
