Approachable baking, drinks, and everyday recipes for people who love good food and have a life outside the kitchen.
If you get genuinely excited about a warm chocolate chip cookie, a really good coffee, dinner with friends, or finding the recipe that everyone asks you to make again, you’re in the right place.
I created Time Stamped Food for people who care about making and eating really good food but don’t necessarily have all day to make it.
Because I don’t think those two things should be mutually exclusive.

Good food for real life
I love beautiful food. I love baking something just because it’s Saturday, making a coffee that feels slightly more special than it needs to be, putting together a great dinner, and finding those recipes that quietly become part of your life. I also know that most of us are fitting all of that into days that are already pretty full.

That’s the balance behind Time Stamped Food: recipes that are approachable enough for real life and delicious enough to be excited about making.

You’ll find plenty of baking here, along with drinks, approachable meals, and seasonal recipes made for actual kitchens and actual schedules. Sometimes that means making something completely from scratch. Sometimes it means knowing when a smart shortcut is absolutely worth taking.
The goal isn’t to spend less time caring about food. It’s to make something good and still have time for everything that comes after it!

Why Time Stamped Food?
I’ve always loved the way food can take you back to a specific time in your life.
There’s the cookie someone always made at Christmas. The drink you ordered all summer. The dinner you cooked over and over during one particular season. The birthday cake, the weeknight meal everyone actually sat down for, or the recipe you immediately saved because you knew you’d want to make it again.
Those little food memories become timestamps. That idea is where Time Stamped Food comes from.Food is woven into so many of the moments we remember—not only the big celebrations, but the ordinary ones too. And I think that’s part of what makes cooking and baking worth doing.

At the same time, I don’t believe good food needs to become an all-day project to matter. Sometimes the recipe you remember is the layer cake you spent a Saturday making. Sometimes it’s the pasta you threw together on a Tuesday night or the coffee you made before everyone else woke up.
There’s room for all of it here.
Real food. Real life. Real good.
A little about me

I’m McKenzie, and I’m the recipe developer and photographer behind Time Stamped Food.
My path to creating a food brand hasn’t exactly been linear.
I was a professional figure skater, studied functional nutrition, and have built a career in product marketing, including work across sports and consumer brands. Through all of those different chapters, food has been a pretty constant thread. I am now a Mom and in charge of feeding this little nugget and continuing to nourish ourselves.
My background in nutrition gave me a deeper understanding of food and ingredients, but you won’t find me telling you how you should eat here. Time Stamped Food isn’t a wellness or diet site. I’m much more interested in making food that tastes really good, feels approachable, and fits into your life.
My professional background has shaped the way I approach this work too. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about products, people, what makes something genuinely useful, and why certain things earn a place in our lives while others don’t.
And now, as a working mom, the idea of making room for good food in the middle of a full life feels more relevant than ever.
I know what it’s like to genuinely enjoy cooking and baking while also looking at the clock and realizing dinner needs to happen. I know there are days when making something from scratch sounds wonderful and others when the smartest shortcut in the kitchen is exactly the right answer.
Both belong here.
When I develop and photograph recipes for Time Stamped Food, I’m always thinking about the person making them on the other side of the screen.

- Is this worth your time?
- Are the instructions clear and doable?
- Does it look as good as it tastes?

And, most importantly, is it something you’ll actually want to make again? That combination of creativity and practicality is really what Time Stamped Food is about.
