I’ve been making these M&M Chocolate Pretzel Treats since I met my husband in 2017. Thanks to my now mother in law she turned me onto these treats when I started helping her in the kitchen. She loved to make bit batches of these, mostly so we could snack on them, which as I said earlier is dangerous, but also gift to neighbors and friends. This has become one of my favorite traditions, it’s a fun, easy way to bring holiday cheer into the kitchen, and the combination of salty pretzels, sweet chocolate, and crunchy M&M’s makes it a guaranteed hit every time.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Pretzels (mini twists or squares) – Snyder’s makes Gluten-Free!
- Hershey’s Kisses (milk chocolate)
- M&M’s (holiday-colored or regular)
- Optional: Candy eyes or mini chocolate chips for added decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 275°F.
- On a lined baking sheet, place your pretzels in a single layer.
- Place a Hershey’s Kiss in the center of each pretzel.
- Pop the tray in the oven for about 3-4 minutes, just until the kisses are soft but still hold their shape.
- Quickly press an M&M into the center of each softened Kiss, pushing it slightly down.
- Let the treats cool for about 10 minutes or until the chocolate hardens. You can speed this up by placing the tray in the fridge.
Pro Tip: If you want to make them look extra festive, add candy eyes and a red M&M for Rudolph’s nose!
