A healthier take on a breakfast favorite, this Pumpkin Protein Donut has all the flavor, with less sugar and added protein. Enjoy them plain or add a little Nutella and cream cheese frosting drizzle to turn it into a late night snack.

  • 2/3 cups King Arthur 1:1 gluten-free flour
  • 2 scoops Orgain Pumpkin Protein Powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup , or coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp olive oil

Method

Instructions

  • 1)

    Preheat Oven to 350 and grease the silicon donut pan

  • 2)

    Mix your dry ingredients in a bowl until combined

  • 3)

    Mix wet ingredients in a both until smooth

  • 4)

    Combine the wet and dry mixtures and then scoop into a plastic bag, sealing and cutting a hold in the corner.

  • 5)

    Squeeze batter into the donut pan right up to the top

  • 6)

    Bake for 10 minutes and let cool. Enjoy plain, or add your favorite toppings!
