  • ½ cup black cocoa powder (regular cocoa powder also okay but taste will change slightly)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup salted caramel chips
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your cauldron (oven) to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave, and let it cool for a few minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour, black cocoa powder, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.

  5. Stir in the salted caramel chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.

The Magic of Creativity

There’s something so magical about baking spooky treats in the kitchen as Halloween approaches. These Mummy Brownies are not only fun to make, but they also remind me of my childhood Halloweens—when the air was crisp, costumes were on, and the trick-or-treating adventure was the highlight of the season. Now, I love making these brownies with my own creative spin. The black cocoa adds a deep, rich flavor, and the caramel chips offer a hint of sweetness. Plus, they’re gluten-free, so everyone can enjoy them at my Halloween gatherings!

Storage Suggestions

  • Fridge: Store the brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Freezer: You can freeze individual brownies for up to 3 months—just thaw at room temperature or reheat in the microwave before serving.
