Instructions for Chocolate Snowcap Cookies

  1. Mix together the sugar, cocoa powder, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Add in flour and mix until the batter is creamy and smooth.
  3. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Set a timer so you don’t forget—trust me, you don’t want to skip this step for the perfect cookies!
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, form dough balls and place them on a lined baking tray.
  6. Roll each dough ball in powdered sugar to cover them in “snow.” (This is a great step for kids to help with—it’s fun!)
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes (14 minutes at high altitude). Let cookies rest for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Enjoy the decadent, chocolatey goodness with a fluffy powdered sugar coating. It’s like a little snow-kissed dessert in each bite!

These cookies pair perfectly with a warm drink like a hot cocoa or non-alcoholic mulled wine for a cozy evening by the fire. If you’re preparing a holiday cookie box, consider pairing these with my Gluten-Free Cherry Chip Cookies and M&M Chocolate Pretzel Treats for a delightful mix of flavors and textures.
