This recipe was inspired by the weather beginning to cool and a need to use the many white potatoes I over purchased. I like mashed potatoes but am not a big plain potato and gravy gal. I like garlic so I thought why not try to make some mashed potatoes using my new favorite kitchen staple Roasted Garlic Tahini from Sprouts.

Ingredients you’ll need

For these vegan garlic mashed potatoes, you’ll need: tahini, garlic, Yukon gold potatoes, olive oil, and a little salt and pepper. These ingredients come together to create a smooth, creamy dish you’ll love.

The secret to these healthy mashed potatoes? Tahini! This ingredient adds a rich, nutty flavor without needing dairy, making it perfect for anyone looking for a dairy-free option. Plus, by using a Vitamix blender, you get the smoothest mashed potatoes in no time.

Tips for the Best Garlic Tahini Mashed Potatoes

For an even richer flavor, roast the garlic before blending. You can also experiment by adding herbs like rosemary or parsley for an extra burst of flavor.
