Growing your own mint and using fresh ingredients can transform ordinary moments into special ones as you host and gather with friends and family this summer.

The Joy of Growing Your Own Mint

There’s something incredibly satisfying about growing your own herbs. Mint, in particular, is a hardy plant that thrives in a variety of conditions, making it perfect for both novice and experienced gardeners. The fragrance of fresh mint leaves is invigorating, and having a ready supply of this versatile herb allows you to infuse its refreshing flavor into a variety of dishes and drinks, including our star recipe – Mint Lemonade. Prior to this year I grew mint in my kitchen counter Aerogarden. This year i’ve planted it in a large pot to thrive outside, fingers crossed it does well, so far it has been great to have on hand for many summer fresh recipes!
