Some dinners earn a permanent spot in the rotation because they make the rest of the day easier. This slow cooker honey mustard chicken is one of those recipes: a few minutes of prep, a long low cook, and tender shredded chicken ready when you are.

I built this recipe around US Wellness Meats chicken breast with True Made Foods Honey Mustard for the sweet-tangy sauce.
I keep coming back to US Wellness Meats because the quality feels a step above without making an everyday dinner feel out of reach, and I really appreciate the emphasis they place on caring for the animals and the environment behind the food.
If you want another low-effort dinner for the same kind of week, my Layered Cherry Tomato Chicken & Smashed Potato Bake is another easy chicken option, and Healthy Winter Meal Ideas is a good place to keep browsing for cozy-season dinners.

Rice bowls: Spoon it over rice with a vegetable side.
Wraps or lettuce cups: Use the leftovers for an easy lunch.
Equipment
For this recipe I use my trust slow cooker I have had for years (similar option here). There are new options on the market, like this one from Ninja that my friends swear by.
Storage
Store leftover chicken with some of the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator so it stays moist. Reheat only what you need until hot.
FAQ
Rice is an easy base, and Roasted Brussels Sprouts make a simple vegetable side. The shredded chicken also works well on slider buns, in wraps or in lettuce cups.
Yes. It reheats well because the shredded chicken stays in the sauce. Store leftovers refrigerated in an airtight container and reheat until hot.
